As the date for our festival came closer, we were being approached by other students at our school and asked questions about our event, what we stood for, and inquiries about where they could get our shirts! We organized a pep rally as a way to answer everyone's questions, remind everyone about what we stood for, and sell some shirts (with no profits being made, we charged exactly how much the shirts cost to make)! We hoped to raise the spirits and excitement for our event while simultaneously getting the whole school involved with our message of women empowerment - we even made a banner and had markers ready so that anyone who could write a positive message for anyone in their lives. We made sure to keep anyone who couldn't attend the rally updated through our social media pages the entire time. Our pep rally was a success. Everyone was excited and had fun while we played music. Many people told us how excited they were for the event and gave us kudos for organizing it all, and we sold a lot of shirts! The pep rally gave us a taste of what was to come with our film festival, which was only a few weeks away!
