Ghetto Film School
My name is Jessica Munoz and I am a Junior at LAUSD USC MAE High School. Being a part of GFS has helped me in many ways. It has helped me challenge myself creatively by taking on roles like a director, screenwriter, assistant director, and many more. Taking on many film projects has helped me not only with my film making skills but also has helped me step out of my shell. Before going into GFS I was very shy, and being part of the program has taught me to not be afraid of speaking my mind and telling others about my ideas. GFS has encouraged me to stay passionate in a film industry that is dominated by white men and to challenge myself into telling stories that have not been told yet in the film industry.
